Strategy

Strategy:

First off why play QMC this way. The reason is that after an early flip (maximum 2 turns) you get All aliens immune <4, permanent Tunnel Vision, permanent Insurrection. Most QMC decks don’t take advantage of these attributes, which is dumb.

Early Game:

First you should examine your hand, if you have 2 cheap deploy chars (bargawins/palace raiders), and consider what they are giving you for activation. If you can’t flip first turn, don’t deploy at all, just draw a little. Turn two you should pull West Gallery, deploy enough to flip, then move your forces into one area (consolidate). Start using “tunnel vision” and “insurrection” to get out your sites and up you’re activation. Always try to end your turn with a substantial force pile left.

Mid Game:

Spread out to all your sites and get draining. You have plenty of “outs” to prevent a beatdown, and plenty of opportunities to switch things around on them. Against QMC many opponents will spread their chars relatively thin to try to get you to battle them. If they do this you have Fallen Portal, reacting Skiffs w. Pilots (who will add a destiny) and Slight Weapons Malfunction, to potentially: kill 1 of their chars, add 3 more destiny, add loads of power). This can turn the tables pretty quick on their game plan. You should be able to get a few favorable battles in this part of the game, and avoid all the others. If they are uninterested in fighting, just drain away. Use Bacta tank, Celebration, bargawin to keep your lost pile small.

Late Game:

Use your Off The Edges for getting back anything critical, keep fighting, keep your weapons out, and just drain away. Your small drains at many sites will quickly finish off all but the best opponents.

Notes on Cards:

2 Admirals Orders: I’ll Take the Leader is for if they have a heavy space deck or if they game isn’t very interactive. No Questions Asked is for if they start really coming at you on the ground, you can use your blasters to eliminate their meat or best yet their back up (Dr Evanzan, Grand Moff Tarkin, Janus, Etc.) and leave their big bad combos suddenly weak. Besides its two destiny 6 cards.

Racing Skiffs, not Patrol Crafts: They can deploy, and move as a react, can act as forfeit fodder (since chars can jump off), and allow for weapons to still be fired.

Disruptor Pistols: Good Destiny, Kills chars not just hits them, and is awesome on non-uniques.

Lando w. Pistol: He is immune <4 after I flip, and qualifies to fire during control phase w. No Questions Asked. Plus he will probably end up adding a destiny wherever he is anyways.

Bargawin: retrieves your racing skiffs and pistols. Nuff said.

Casino: I was surprised by this. I started it just because it was 2/1. But just for starting it many people will waste a Shield on anti-sabaac tech.

No Path of Least Resistances: I have in many games had opponents never grab anything because they are waiting for the three of these that are in my hand. I tried it, didn’t think it was worth the slots.

Matchups:

DS Senate: get your bacta tank out asap, as well as bargawin. Most ground decks run Epps, so just make sure to get attrition on them. If they are playing space, probably don’t pull tatooine, just stick to bespin (still use tatooine dbs) and dwindle their forces while draining. Use Honor to cancel their senate drain, and they will be spending a good portion of their resources (aka force) to work the senate/poli effects. While at this time you are causing damage, and huring them in space. It’s a hard matchup but you can win with chars that just don’t seem to die.

Hunt Down: Get Honor out and keep them from occupying 3 BGs. Most huntdown has many copies of the same chars so just spread and keep some protection. Give vader his space, but control where he goes. If necessary, corran is an excellent visage canceller.

Watto: This is a very difficult matchup. Keep them from flipping, get honor out quick. No Questions Asked needs to get out ASAP. If they are playing podrace w. expand the empire, just use NQA and disruptor pistols to kill watto again, and again, and again. If not just keep battling constantly at espa, and kill watto. Use your retrieval, and the game is yours.

Notes:
