Captain of the Radiant VII. Has gained her rank through consistent excellent performance, and has one of the finest service records of all Republic officers.
Strategy
The Light Side has few starships available in the Episode I environment, but they don't need too many when they have the Radiant VII and her valiant Captain, little miss Madakor. This petite Republic character packs a real wallop in any space-based deck.
While her piloting skills are average, Madakor offers a powerful incentive for playing with the Radiant VII. While she pilots this crimson consular ship at a system, your opponent may draw no more than one battle destiny. No longer can Bossk In Hound's Tooth, Grand Admiral Thrawn, the Emperor's Power and Imperial Command crush your space forces. With Captain Madakor, your space worries are over.
Of course, you have to keep the Radiant VII alone to use Madakor's text, but that's okay. Since the Radiant is a strong capital ship with great attrition immunity while Madakor pilots it, you'll be pretty darn safe. And, since there are two extra pilot slots to fill, you can have your pick of co-pilots to make the Radiant a real powerhouse, the perfect ship to hold a system for a Celebration. And, should you ever lose a battle, Madakor's huge 5 Forfeit value (boosted to a 7 with Security Control) ensures that you won't have to lose much, if any, Force when she does go down.
And if you think she's good, wait 'till you see her co-pilot....
