Errata are official corrections to a card's game text after its printing (or equivalent labeled text changes in rules documents). Layout inspiration: LOTR-TCG Errata hub.

This is a fan encyclopedia. Cite primary sources; do not invent game text.

Decipher era

Decipher-era errata and clarifications were issued mainly through rules and glossary documents (for example the Glossary Supplement), indexed on Rulebooks. As a rule Decipher preferred bans / X-lists over rewriting faces when possible; when text did change, the physical card image often stayed the old wording while the Supplement carried the official text.

Example: Projective Telepathy — printed Cloud City face kept "A player" on the OR clause (Projective Telepathy (Original)); Glossary Supplement (Updated 29 January 2002) made the official wording "your opponent" / opponent must choose (Projective Telepathy (Errata), also the bare Projective Telepathy default). On this wiki, Decipher errata printings use card_uid suffix -DE (see Card versions).

Players Committee

The Players Committee issues separate corrections and Virtual redesigns for current play under the Players Committee Advanced Rulebook and PC announces / slips on starwarsccg.org.

  • Dated rules changes (not always card stickers): Players Committee rule changes
  • PC card-text errata pages: PC Errata
  • Naming: PC-only game-text changes are titled like Title (PC Errata) on this wiki, with card_uid suffix -PC (alongside Decipher -DE). Do not invent PC errata where none exists.

Virtual redesigns such as Projective Telepathy (V) are not Decipher errata stickers; keep (V) titles.
