Joe Alread (Joseph Alread on the anagram list) was Gold 79 FL from Normal, Illinois, on the published Squadron Members roster; that fan table calls the Palejo Reshad mapping a Gold 79 intern.[1][2] A fan world-finals history page places him 3rd at the 1996 Vail world finals (behind Raphael Asselin / Bjorn Sorgjerd; Kevin Reitzel 4th).[3]
He later appears on Radio Free Decipher as a Decipher SWCCG design guest for late-era sets (Tatooine, Coruscant / Theed playtest, Reflections III / Defensive Shields) and on Decipher WARS Radio.[4]
This page is a thin fan encyclopedia stub. Roles below are labeled only from RFD / WARS index descriptions — not from invented official titles.

A TheOneRing / Gaming Havens archive chat also lists Alread with Tom Lischke.[5]
Alread is not on Wikipedia's founding SWCCG designer line.[6] RFD 42's "Open champs" billing is pre-staff context per the research pack — do not backdate a Decipher staff title from that episode alone.
