The Concussion Grenade isn't the most exact of weapons, but it can be a great way to clear out a site in a hurry. Especially in a trooper deck, a Concussion Grenade can be a terrific way to even the score in a battle, or clear out a neighboring site so that you can move in and Force drain. With Sorry About The Mess, you can toss the Grenade during your Control (Coruscant)Control phase, making its effects far more useful. Also, with Under Attack, the Concussion Grenade can be used to good effect by taking out a pesky Walker, especially against a Walker Garrison deck.

Strategy

By Brian Kallenbach[1]

The Concussion Grenade isn't the most exact of weapons, but it can be a great way to clear out a site in a hurry. Especially in a trooper deck, a Concussion Grenade can be a terrific way to even the score in a battle, or clear out a neighboring site so that you can move in and Force drain. With Sorry About The Mess, you can toss the Grenade during your Control phase, making its effects far more useful. Also, with Under Attack, the Concussion Grenade can be used to good effect by taking out a pesky Walker, especially against a Walker Garrison deck.

Combos:

Concussion Grenade + R2-D2 + Artoo -- With the variety of destinies that you can get from the two versions of R2, you can choose the variety that suits your taste. Granted, though, that few characters have a destiny of 5 or 6, but in the rare case that this helps, it can be used to devastating effect, especially against insert decks.
