And, you thought Vader was the best all-around Dark Side character... When
someone first said, "What about Feltipern Trevagg for your deck?" a few
months ago I said, "Who the heck is that?"
Trevagg is a dark-horse candidate whose stock has recently skyrocketed
on the tournament scene. Why? Because he is an all around good card for
card economy and versatility. Look what you get for a paltry two Force:
1) 2 power, 2) 4 destiny, 3) A warrior (Lone Warrior), 4) An alien
(Moment of Triumph), 5) A bounty hunter (Res Luk La'Ruf), 6) Game text
that makes battles more difficult at his location (except the trash
compactor).
Trevagg is a great character in just about any Dark Side deck. Early in the
game, he can control a location, and with 3 different destiny adder cards
that can target him, the Light Side is going to think twice before
attacking a lone Trevagg in the Cantina (4 Force to boot, 6 if
Presence Of The Force).
The main advantage to him is that 4 destiny. Numbers is still a
prevalent Light Side strategy in today's tournament environment, and even if you have Vader out, as long as Trevagg and Tech Mor are out with him, you
have a destiny total of 11, which will minimize or eliminate the damage
from Never Tell Me The Odds.
Future prospects for Feltipern. Note that he is a "tax collector".
Except for his game text and cancelling Garouf Lafoe, nothing has yet been done with the game text.
Combos:
Trevagg + Lone Warrior + Moment Of Triumph + Res Luk La-Rauf - A lonsome tax-collector
can take out the likes of Ben & Luke all by himself.
Trevagg (in the Cantina) + Presence Of The Force + Projective Telepathy - Make
your opponent pay 8 force to initiate a battle in the Cantina!

And, you thought Vader was the best all-around Dark Side character... When someone first said, "What about Feltipern Trevagg for your deck?" a few months ago I said, "Who the heck is that?"

Trevagg is a dark-horse candidate whose stock has recently skyrocketed on the tournament scene. Why? Because he is an all around good card for card economy and versatility. Look what you get for a paltry two Force: 1) 2 power, 2) 4 destiny, 3) A warrior (Lone Warrior), 4) An alien (Moment of Triumph), 5) A bounty hunter (Res Luk La'Ruf), 6) Game text that makes battles more difficult at his location (except the trash compactor).

Trevagg is a great character in just about any Dark Side deck. Early in the game, he can control a location, and with 3 different destiny adder cards that can target him, the Light Side is going to think twice before attacking a lone Trevagg in the Cantina (4 Force to boot, 6 if Presence Of The Force).

The main advantage to him is that 4 destiny. Numbers is still a prevalent Light Side strategy in today's tournament environment, and even if you have Vader out, as long as Trevagg and Tech Mor are out with him, you have a destiny total of 11, which will minimize or eliminate the damage from Never Tell Me The Odds.

Future prospects for Feltipern. Note that he is a "tax collector". Except for his game text and cancelling Garouf Lafoe, nothing has yet been done with the game text.

Combos:

Trevagg + Lone Warrior + Moment Of Triumph + Res Luk La-Rauf - A lonsome tax-collector can take out the likes of Ben & Luke all by himself.

Trevagg (in the Cantina) + Presence Of The Force + Projective Telepathy - Make your opponent pay 8 force to initiate a battle in the Cantina!
