Scott Lingrell (GEMP advocate; also crngwell) is the current Lead Advocate (Head Advocate) of the Players Committee. The PC is an organization of Advocates; his GEMP handle is that same word, advocate. On the ~August 2005 swccgpc.com Advocate Council page he is listed as Card Design Advocate. Later public PC organization charts list him as Lead Advocate with handle advocate.[1][2][3]

He also goes by crngwell. SWCCG videos are on YouTube at @crngwell.[4]

The ~October 2014 starwarsccg.org About "Current Advocates" block labels the Lead slot only Advocate (placeholder) without printing this legal name; the org-chart identity above is a later, separately dated source.[6][2][3]

He finished #34 at both the 2026 Retro GEMP Match Play Championship (Premiere to DSII) and the 2026 Tenth Annual GEMPC (lost Round of 64; Challonge seed 31).
