Research notes (Oct 2026)
- Westergaard: "Jan Westenguard" (7th, 8 +20) is Jan Westergaard. Not linked: "Micah W." (Wooten or Wall?) and "Daniel W." are ambiguous. Raul and Walter Schumann have no pages here.
- Missing data: no other LOTR results found for Casey Anis or other SWCCG players (2002–2007 Decipher-era results, DGMA archives not checked). The 2004–2007 Worlds pages on the LOTR-TCG Wiki don't exist, so venues are blank. The LOTR-TCG Wiki archive copy (Dec 2024) predates its list of later GEMP champions.
- Build notes: Wayback saves returned HTTP 520 on 13 Oct 2026; existing captures are used.

Crossover research, part 2 (Oct 2026)
- Sources checked: LOTR-TCG Wiki Worlds 2002, 2003, 2023 and 2024 (no pages for 2004–2007/2010); TLHH threads 8581, 12100, 12101, 6620, 12103, 12104 and 5072; DGMA archive pages 177, 471, 490, 973, 974 and 977.
- Added: Alex Tennet, Clint Hays, Dominic Gaudreault, Bastian Winkelhaus, Kyle Craft, Doug Faust, Brad Eier, Yannick Lapointe, Hayes Hunter and Maximilien Bouchard, plus Brian Fred for 2003–2005.
- Skipped as ambiguous: Michael Dalton (2003 champion) vs. Mike Dalton (one 1999 Decipher deck); Chris Thompson (2007 co-champion) vs. Chris Thompson; Dan Clark, Steve Jones, Ryan Jones and Lee Clark (common names). The 2023/2024 GEMP events list handles only, and none matched.
- Not placings: Mark Tuttle and "Mike Girard" gave colour commentary for the 2003 final.
- Photos: the Origins 2002 top 16 photo names Hays, Faust, Craft, Gaudreault and Eier, but the caption's left-to-right order doesn't map cleanly onto two rows, so no crops were taken from it. Portraits came from the labelled 2002 Worlds top 16 grid instead.
- Missing: 2004/2005 Worlds dates and venues; 2005 places beyond top 16; 2006/2007 lists.

Crossover research, part 3 (Oct 2026)
- Added: Marcin Solonczak as 2002 European Continental Champion (Amsterdam, 3–4 August) and Worlds 2002 Top 16 (Heat B 3rd seed). Missed in part 2.
- Sources: Decipher wrap-up (Hoste, 7 August 2002), DGMA decklist id=68, DGMA Top 16 id=177, LOTR-TCG Wiki Worlds 2002, TLHH 8581.
- Spelling: DGMA/grid "Marcin Solonazik".
- Not merged: GEMP-LotR MarcinS = Marcin Sciesinski.
