Style pass (2026-10-15)
Marginal cuts
- Lead section: "The magazine put a Decipher CCG photoshoot on the cover of Lucasfilm's official fan magazine. That is a substantial promotional effort, even if Mara's later table presence did not match that billing." Editorial opinion, unsourced. The "Can you say Mara Jade?" quote was also cut there; it remains in the Enhanced Jabba's Palace promotion section (wook-ejp).
- Two-page spread: "The on-image text is the published article, not a caption added later." (Wookieepedia, Mara Jade: Flesh and Blood)
- Pages 52–53: "Chernoff's November 1999 figure is the magazine's contemporary schedule, written before that street date." (commentary on Insider 47 vs Decipher 10 January 2000 spotlight)
- Page 57: "That is the magazine treating Enhanced Jabba's Palace as Mara's game appearance, dated 1999 in the bibliography (the product streeted 12 January 2000)." (commentary)
- Captions shortened. Removed text: cover "on the cover of Star Wars Insider 47 (January 2000)"; page 54 "Makeup and costume stills, the printed Enhanced Jabba's Palace card, and Chernoff's Timothy Zahn sidebar"; page 55 "Baksa in the green Light Side costume, captioned "LIGHT SIDE: Mara Jade, Jedi Knight.""; signed oversized: inscription "Shannon Baksa as Mara Jade / San Diego" (CategoryOne Games); group oversized signed copy: Zahn's signature dated 8/31/01, "Shannon Baksa as Mara Jade", "the use Decipher described on Radio Free Decipher" (Noble Knight Games); back: "Rebel Alliance symbol, decipher.com, starwars.com" (still in body).
- Group oversized: "Title line: •Mara Jade & •Corran Horn & •Talon Karrde" and the stat line "Power 8, Ability 5 ... Deploy 8, Forfeit 9. Pilot and Warrior icons" (duplicated the RFD stat quote; body says the printed card matches).
- SWCA catalog details: item 11259 "photo Duncan Jenkins", "CCG Show Premium, 5×7, licensee Decipher, year 2000"; item 11260 "CCG Show Premium, 5×7, 2001" (now stated as facts, cited to the same items).

Preserved copies for the store and catalog links (26 October 2026)
- CategoryOne Games (both items), Noble Knight Games and SWCA items 11259 and 11260 now carry a Wayback Preserved copy inside each ref. Each capture was opened and shows the item.
- Removed: BoardGameGeek, Star Wars CCG Complete Card List 4.2 (
boardgamegeek.com/filepage/33565/…-42). The live page returns HTTP 403, the only Wayback capture of that URL is also a 403, and a fresh save lands on the renamed 4.3 file page, which holds no checklist text. The quoted line "Spend $20 or more at Decipher Store at conventions" sat inside the downloaded checklist file, so no capture can show it. I cut that clause from the Oversized convention cards section; the "convention premium" wording stays, cited to SWCA ("CCG, Show Premium"). If an archivable copy of the checklist turns up, the $20 detail can return. - Also fixed: the CategoryOne ref for the signed oversized had an SWCA catalog link labelled as its Preserved copy. It now points to the CategoryOne capture.
- Open question: the "copyright 2000" for the Dark Side oversized is cited to SWCA 11259, but the 21 June 2013 capture of that item lists "Year: 1995". The 2000 date may come from the card face; worth checking against a scan. Comlink Cursor (talk) 19:18, 26 October 2026 (UTC)
