Possibly faulty data
- Callsign/hometown: the archived decipher.com listing (cited on the Service row) gives Gold 28, Santa Rosa, CA; the fan Squadron Members table gives Gold 28, San Francisco, Ca. The article uses the Decipher listing. Datacard Grok (talk) 11:39, 14 October 2026 (UTC)
Style pass (2026-10-15)
Possibly faulty data
- Home town for Gold 28: the fan Squadron Members table (geocities.ws/plarathas) lists Gold 28 and Red 23 both "from San Francisco, Ca"; Decipher's Alderaan region page (August 1999 – January 2001) lists Gold 28 in Santa Rosa, CA. The lead no longer gives a town.
Missing data
- "FL" is printed on some slots in the surviving Squadron tables; the tables do not spell out the abbreviation.
Marginal cuts
- "The published fan table marks the slot Retired after Decipher's SWCCG run." (geocities.ws/plarathas Squadron Members).
- Added Service rows for Decipher website writing (dates unknown) and the Jedi Knights Design Diary (October 2000 – April 2001), carrying the existing refs.

Decipher.com articles and web-team dates (25 October 2026)
Build notes
- Articles table built from a Wayback CDX scan of decipher.com (NewsFlash 1999–2002, calendars, Jedi Knights, Star Wars CCG, Young Jedi and part of Star Trek CCG) for pages naming Lalumiere. Rows are pages that carry his byline or his sign-off ("Francis K. Lalumiere, The Juggler").
- Start: Decipher's 29 December 1999 NewsFlash says he was first published on decipher.com in 1997 and that Decipher now welcomes him to its web team. The DecipherCon 1999 photo thu19 (11 November 1999) calls him a "new addition to the Decipher team". The Service row starts in November 1999.
- End: Decipher gives no end date. April 2001 is the month of his last bylined pieces found (Design Diary closing entry, 25 April 2001; 12 Days of Jedi Knights Day 11). His last signed NewsFlash story found is 27 March 2001. No NewsFlash story from April 2001 to December 2002 carries his name.
Missing data
- Some NewsFlash dates come from the story's sign-off, one only from the NewsFlash archive path (Tribble Hunt, 28 September 2000).
- Four pages show no date: the Death Star II quiz, the Jabba's Palace Sealed Deck article, Tall Tales Day Twelve and Young Jedi Rising. Their year comes from the page copyright and capture.
- Not yet listed: his Scrye articles, and the 1997 regional qualifier he directed (Montreal, 27 July 1997, on Decipher's 1997 regionals page).
- About 300 of the scanned captures returned error pages, so the list may be incomplete.
Possibly faulty data
- His LinkedIn profile (seen only in a search snippet, not opened) gives "Lead Writer & Editor – Decipher.com" as January 1999 – January 2001. It then lists Managing Editor of the Official Lord of the Rings Fan Club Magazine (Decipher) from January 2001.
- Decipher's own pages put his arrival in late 1999. He wrote of working at Skywalker Ranch from September 1998 through at least early 1999.

Scan completed (25 October 2026)
- The decipher.com capture scan is finished. 1,023 more captures were checked and every one returned content. 373 navigation map, script and stylesheet files were skipped. One new row: "How Premiere Became Enhanced" (Star Trek CCG Enhanced Premiere, 2000). The 27 March 2001 NewsFlash title is now "Set Course for the Delta Quadrant!", from the Voyager expansion page.
- Service row added: director of the Montreal regional qualifier, 27 July 1997, from Decipher's 1997 regionals schedule (captured 7 June 1997, before the event).

End of the web role and 1998 director row (25 October 2026)
- The search turned up nothing that dates the end of his Decipher web role. The end month stays April 2001, from his last bylines. Decipher's 2001 Radio Free Decipher archive (Broadcast 84, 8 June 2001, "The Prodigal Son Returns") calls him a guest host who "visits us from the great white north". That places him away from Decipher's office by June 2001 but does not say when he left the web team.
- Searched: Decipher's 2001 Radio Free Decipher archive, the decipher.com scan, web searches for Scrye and fan club mentions. Google Groups search pages would not load (content unavailable), so Usenet was not checked. No Scrye scan naming him was found.
- The 19 April 1998 Service row cites Decipher's Official Tournament Sealed Deck pre-release events list, a schedule published before the event (captured 6 May 1998). It shows who was billed as tournament director, not a results report.
