- 16 October 2026: Dagobah Contest .dcr files decompiled with ProjectorRays (Director 5 sliding-tile Lingo). Solution cards from attic solution1b–5b HTML. Hoth anagrams from recovered daily puzzle HTML (puzzles 05, 06, 08, 09, 10). Interactive HTML copies of the five sliding puzzles are at

- 17 October 2026: uploaded original puzzle1–5.jpg (jigsaw and letter blanks) and full puzzle-page screenshots from recovered 27 March 1997 HTML plus original chrome. Wayback puzzle HTML already used JPEG, not Shockwave EMBED. Live-week .dcr files and getshockwave.gif were on the server 28 March 1997. No surviving HTML with EMBED SRC=puzzleN.dcr. The preserved HTML5 sliders at /preserved/dagobah-contest/ are a 2026 recreation.

- 17 October 2026: Shockwave slider stills from original puzzle1–5.dcr PICT tiles (members "1 1" through "4 6", 89×83, VWCF stage 368×520, Lingo MovieScript startMovie/scramble/clickOnPiece/slide/checkDone; hole at column 1 row 1). Page shots wrap those stages in original 1997 chrome plus getshockwave.gif (Wayback 19970328044522). No HTML with EMBED SRC=puzzleN.dcr survived. Hangman puzzleN.jpg pages are the post-week JPEG replacement. Playable HTML5 copies remain at /preserved/dagobah-contest/.

- 17 October 2026: website-area main image is the Wayback landing-page capture (capture bar plus the Decipher page). Original site GIFs stay in the gallery. Worked model: Art Show 13 October 1999.

- 17 October 2026: labeled https://wiki.swccg.com/preserved/dagobah-contest/ on the page as a 2026 recreation. Copied from original Lingo: 4×6, top-left hole, click adjacent. Guessed: solution GIFs as tiles, scramble, finish, motion, chrome.

- 17 October 2026: /preserved/dagobah-contest/ is now the two-door recreation: Puzzle column = weekday hangman; Solution column = post-close slider. Skip hangman by opening Solution. Counters persist in the browser.

Missing data
- The Design a Card winning-entry page
s-foilscard.htmlwas not captured (CDX 0). The published card is S-foils.
Possibly faulty data
- Earlier Talk claimed no surviving HTML with EMBED SRC=puzzleN.dcr, and treated hangman JPEG pages as a post-week replacement. That is wrong. puzzle1.html is dated 03.10.97 (HTML comment dy) and is the contest page: a JPEG of card-art fragments plus daily letter fills. solution1.html at 19970327214330 (live-week on rothko) contains
<embed src="puzzle1.dcr" width=368 height=520>. The Shockwave 4-by-6 slider of the full card, including the printed title, is the post-close solution, so the daily letter fills were not redundant. File:Decipher.com Dagobah Contest 1997 Shockwave puzzle N page.jpg shots wrap DCR stills in recovered chrome and are not original 1997 pages.
