Related games are other card games connected to Star Wars CCG through Decipher, the Star Wars license, or shared designers and players.

Decipher's first major CCG was Star Trek: The Next Generation (1994), followed by Star Wars CCG (1995) and later titles including Austin Powers, Young Jedi, Jedi Knights, The Lord of the Rings TCG, several youth-market licenses, the original-IP WARS TCG, and finally Fight Klub.[1][2] See Decipher and Decipher after the Star Wars license.

Decipher Star Wars games

Young Jedi (1999–2001)
Decipher's Star Wars customizable card game based on The Phantom Menace, separate from SWCCG. Eight sets came out between May 1999 and September 2001, from Menace of Darth Maul to Boonta Eve Podrace.[3]
Jedi Knights Trading Card Game (2001)
Decipher's third Star Wars card game, set in the original trilogy, with computer-generated card art.[4][5] Decipher stopped publishing SWCCG, Young Jedi and Jedi Knights effective 31 December 2001.[6]
SWCCG 2nd Edition (unreleased)
Decipher's July 2000 pitch for a 2001 reboot. Lucasfilm did not approve it.

After the license moved

Star Wars Trading Card Game (2002–)
Wizards of the Coast's Star Wars card game, published from April 2002 under the license Lucasfilm moved from Decipher and designed by Richard Garfield. It used all-new mechanics and was not compatible with SWCCG.[7][8]
WARS TCG (2004–2005)
Decipher's original science-fiction card game. It reused the SWCCG turn, Force-pile economy, location control and battle structure so Star Wars players could pick it up quickly. Its sets ran from Incursion (October 2004) to Nowhere to Hide (January 2005).[9]

Other Decipher games

The Lord of the Rings Trading Card Game (2001–2007)
Decipher's game based on Peter Jackson's films. It became Decipher's main game after the Star Wars license ended, and fans have kept it going since 2007.[10]
