May carry 4 passengers. Deploy and move only at interior mobile sites. May move without presence aboard. Also, may move as a 'react' only to a battle or Force drain (if within range).

System of enclosed high-speed vertical and horizontal transport cylinders. Used in space stations, large starships, Death Stars, etc.

- Jeff Hansen, "Lift Tube", Neglected Card Series, Corellian Engineering Corporation (2000). Covering both sides' Lift Tubes, Hansen says they are limited to interior mobile sites (Death Star, Executor, Cloud City) but strong there because they can move as a react to a battle or Force drain. "Some of us used to laugh at these things, some still do."[2]
Rulings
- Lift Tubes may exist at interior mobile sites, and may never exist elsewhere.[3]
- Lift Tubes are never considered unpiloted.
