Strategy
Turn 1: u should be able to get the DS2 docking bay out, maybe with jerjerrod there. With 4 advisors, the docking bay, and IAO that’s 6 cards that can get it. If u cant get it, draw and deploy it Turn 2: Deploy jerjerrod, grab and deploy the first sector, draw Turn 3: grab and deploy the 2nd sector, start to occupy ds2, draw Turn 4: grab and deploy the last sector, deploy TTO, deploy more space, by this time u should have gotten either nemoidian advisor or one of the 2 battleground systems, deploy one, deploy ground, move DS2 to that system. Now everything is set up. If ur lucky with ur opening hand or what u draw, it can be possible to set up everything a turn early. Once u reach this point, ur opponent should be losing at least 5 to TTO, u are draining in space, and draining on the ground. If he doesn’t come after u soon, he’ll be gone awfully soon. In space u have battle destiny’s galore (also as much as +4 total from the baron), extra power from the dreadnaughts and all power to weapons (each tie is total power +3), and some nice weapons. On the ground Dr. Evazan is murder with the weapons. I should be able to survive his attempts at clearing me out.
Card Selections: the superlaser can kill off annoying capital starships (i.e. defiance), relentless pursuit either makes a hit starship immediately lost or cancels one of my opponents starships power-very useful, sullust is a good drain, reactor terminal puts cards from my hand back in life force so I don’t have to worry about drawing up cards I need in my life force, inconsequential losses can keep me from forfeiting an important character by forfeiting weapons instead, lots of twi’lek advisors get my needed effects out quickly
responses: Darth Hoth: thank u for the comment on Desparate Counter. id never even heard or the card, but ill try to get it. i might consider trading out some ground for SDs, but i really need blaster rack to guarantee getting the weapons out.
