This is a Hidden Base/Echo Base Ops hybrid deck... something you DEFINITELY don't see every day. On the PC forums, it's been said that an HB/EBO hybrid will get stomped by a Walkers deck... so, I've thrown in some anti-Walkers stuff to help combat that. This deck isn't meant to do heavy space beats... it's meant to spread and drain... and drain... and drain. However, should push come to shove, you can easily hold up to four systems without losing much (if anything) to attrition, or beat the crap out of your opponent at one system. Let's do a turn-by-turn up to the point when you flip the deck: Turn 1 - pull Rieekan and Dodonna with Strike Planning. Activate. Pull the docking bay with Insurrection, and a system (Endor is preferable) with Planners. Drop Rieekan to the docking bay, and use him to pull the Main Power Generators (thereby pulling 4th Marker as well). Draw up. Turn 2 - Activate. Pull a system, pull A New Secret Base with Rieekan, pull Garrison or EBO and the War Room with ANSB, drop Dodonna to the War Room. Draw up. Turn 3 - Pull Garrison or EBO and the Med Lab with ANSB. Activate. Pull a character (Chewie works great) with Dodonna. Pull a system. Drop the Med Lab and use it to pull 2-1B. Drop Chewie to the Med Lab, drop EBO, drop Garrison. Pull Bacta Tank with Garrison. Use Chewie to pull Falcon, Solo, or Life Debt. Move Chewie to Docking Bay and Rieekan to Med Lab. Draw up. Turn 4 - Activate 1, then use Chewie to pull Falcon, Solo, or Life Debt. Finish activating. Pull a character with Dodonna. Pull a system. Drop Falcon/Solo to the docking bay. Drop Bacta Tank. Pull Artoo with Garrison. Move Falcon with pilots to the system. Draw up (leave 2 back for Solo's text). Turn 5 - Activate 1, use Chewie to pull Life Debt. Finish activating. Pull a character with Dodonna. Drain at Hoth. Pull a system. Start dropping starships/pilots. If needed, go ahead and flip now. Draw up (leave 2 for Solo's text).

With General Solo, Brave Little Droid, Wedge, and Bright Hope (V), you opponent won't GET any battle destinies. If you end up facing off against Walkers, then Luke and Wedge will get to their speeders and hold those things off as long as possible, giving you some time to do a quick-flip (as if a turn-5 HB flip could be considered "quick"), and do some nasty EBO drains. With Tank and 2-1B keeping them alive, you shouldn't really have any problems holding your own on the ground. As soon as you see a Signal, USE IT to pull out Squadron Assignments. That's the biggest problem with the deck... trying to get out those matching starships/pilots.

The deck is, admittedly, slower than mollasses, but it's got a pretty nasty kick to it. You've got some good space power, great destiny cancelling tech, some decent retrieval, and a hell of a drain base. And this is just from 20 minute's work! Odds are this thing is going to change drastically in the next few days to help speed it up a bit, so go ahead and keep that in mind when looking at this thing... I'm thinking that a turn-3 flip is very much possible (may end up pulling Tantive and Noble Sacrifice to put a couple systems in the deck). I may also change the ground base a bit... possibly scrap the speeders in favor of some artillery weapons and some ground-based characters. Feel free to voice any thoughts or ideas... I'd love to know what you think!

Enjoy!
