Card Text

May deploy for free to your [Independent Starship] starship. Adds 2 to power of anything he pilots. Power +2 when present with and opponent's smuggler. When targeted by a weapon, subtract one from each weapon destiny.

Lore

Bad-tempered smuggler. Makes a few credits more helping Jabba collect debts. Highly regarded for his uncanny anticipation in battle. Searching for Debnoli.

Anagram

Angel Eyes is Lee Van Cleef's mercenary, "the Bad", in the 1966 western.[1] Gela Yeens uses exactly the letters of Angel Eyes, and the fan list tags it BAD.[2]

Joke

Gela Yeens is an anagram of Angel Eyes, "the Bad" of The Good, the Bad and the Ugly,[1][2] and the lore opens with "Bad-tempered". "Makes a few credits more" turns the title of For a Few Dollars More (1965), Sergio Leone's previous western, also with Lee Van Cleef, into credits.[3] "Searching for Debnoli" puts him on the trail of Debnoli, the card that is Blondie. It is part of the running gag of the film's trio with Debnoli and Bron Burs. See Jokes.
