Introduction
After looking at the new V8 cards, I just had to go back and update my Court deck...
Decklist
Defensive Shields
These cards were posted as Defensive Shields outside the deck.
'6 Shields (including Firepower(V)) + Sarlacc + Bubo + Mandalorian Armor + Interogation Array' under Fear Is My Ally; only Firepower (V) named as a shield, the four other cards are outside the 60 and not destined.
Notes
- The description cites 'the new V8 cards': Virtual Set 8 printings used for the cards that only exist there by this date (Twi'lek Advisor (V), Hutt Bounty (V), Jabba The Hutt (V), All Wrapped Up (V), None Shall Pass (V)) and for Jabba's Sail Barge (V) (VS8, used to download Jabba The Hutt (V); a VS4 printing also exists).
- Posted 'Bounty x2 (V)': the only Bounty (V) is Virtual Set 12, so dested the printed Bounty.
- Other original-era (V): Rodian (V), Oo-ta Goo-ta, Solo? (V) x2 (VS3); Greedo (V), Krayt Dragon Bones (V) (VS4); Desilijic Tattoo (V), Bossk (V), IG-88 (V), Hound's Tooth (V), IG-88's Neural Inhibitor (V), Defensive Fire (V) (VS5); Jabba's Influence (V), Lando Calrissian (V), The Emperor (V), Boba Fett (V), Boba Fett's Blaster Rifle (V), Ability, Ability, Ability (V), Levitation Attack (V), Firepower (V) (VS6); Prince Xizor (V), Punishing One (V) (VS7).
- Posted 'Galid' dested Gailid; 'Ephont Mon' Ephant Mon; 'Kryat Dragon Bones' Krayt Dragon Bones.
- Original-era printing corrected: Greedo (V) (Virtual Set 4) -> Greedo (V) (Virtual Set 3); Punishing One (V) (Virtual Set 7) -> Punishing One (V) (Virtual Set 5) (an earlier dest had linked the modern virtual card of the same name).
Strategy
Turn 1: Pull the Tatooine docking bay with the objective. Pull the Sail Barge (V) with Power of the Hutt. Deploy for 3. If opponent gave you at least 1 Force, immediatly download Jabba the Hutt (V) using the Sail Barge (V) and deploy him for 3 (-1 with Sail Barge). Use Jabba the Hutt to download Scum and Villainy and play it on the Sail Barge using its new text. Download the Rodian (V) or Lyn Me (V) using Jabba's Influence. Play either for free on the barge (-1 Scum, -1 Barge). That's quite a heavy turn 1...and some of the cards probably will be in your Force pile...improvise as neceassary.
Turn 2: Pull Spaceport docking bay. Ideally drop it wherever opponent has set up shop. Pull Lyn Me (or Rodian v) using Jabba's Influence. Deploy her for free on the barge. Pull Boba Fett (V) using Rodian (V). Deploy him for free using Lyn Me. Pull Boelo (or Ephont Mon) using Power of the Hutt.
On subsequent turns continue pulling an alien with Jabba's Influence and the rest of "Jabba's Crew" using Power of the Hutt. When ready pull any alien you want using the audience chamber...I suggest Prince Xizor (V) or Snoova.
