Deck info[edit]

Introduction[edit]

This deck is currently undefeated in tournament play. It started out as a mean counter assault deck, but now it has a little more versatility. I've been using this deck for more than a year now. It's my favorite desk.

Strategy[edit]

This deck is based on Destiny. The Game begins with an air of mystery for the opponent because there is no objective. Usually, most every deck has an objective these days which sort of gives an idea of what is coming. This deck there is no objective. This is compounded when the first thing you do is get Palpie on the holotable. They're thinking "what's he doing". You take the first couple force drains and wait for a good opportunity to use counter assault. With an average destiny draw of 5.1, you can hit him for a good ten force before he knows what hit him. once you lose about 9 force, if your opponent hasn't already done so, initiate a podrace. even if they have anakin's podracer, your average destiny with sebulba is 8+! Good Luck catching that speed demon! The podrace is over in 4 draws maximum. Then Bam, he's down 25 force because of the fact you force drain him every turn safely from your Imperial Holotable. And if they decide to be Jerks, than you can put a phantom menace or image othe the dark lord for 20 power. I'd like to see the whimpy Light side holograms beat the dejarik moffia.

I kind of realized I glossed over one of the most important strategies of this deck that will com in handy later in the game. The first thing I do is try to find a reactor terminal. With a reactor terminal, the process of deck destiny purification begins. This involves drawing cards into your hand and recycling only destiny 5 and higher cards. as we get later in the game we should have an average draw of hopefully 6

SO! now yo have 50 odd cards in your life force and they have about 20. Your opponent feels the crunch and is afraid of the counter assaults. He can't force drain, He can't battle, so what does he do. If he's an idiot, he'll try and force drain through a counter assault and die, but if he's smarter, he will think you have no characters or starships in your deck, and then spread out his characters. This is when we hit him with a nasty surprise. The Characters and Vehicles, when combined can get up to 5 destiny draws! that's an added 25-30 power AND attrition. In this deck, their immunity to attrition doesn't matter anymore. So, like a smart guy, he puts a Qui Gon w/lightsaber, and obi with lighsaber at an exterior site or docking bay. The ultimate combo is a kicker, though difficult to collect the neccessary cards for it.

Deploy AAT Assault leader with a tank commander piloting and an Armored Atteck Tank With zuckess piloting. That's 5, count 'em 5 destiny draws. average 40 power to their 12. That's a 24 card loss for them. Sucks, doesn't it. If you don't have hat particular combo, there are other interesting ones like Boba with Zuckess or Vader, which gives you an easy three. Add a blizzard 4, that gives you a free stormtrooper garrison or vader. choose wisely, and shoot to kill... Maybe even add a maul to make them forfeit = 0. Possible problem decks are the senate decks, Quiet Mining Colony, both quite nasty to encounter. . You may profit by this can be a problem theoretically, but the force drain at the holosite should outweigh any losses. I am still contemplating ways to destroy them easier.

Space decks are a pain. Counter assaults deal with presence, and presence = 1 draw per starship. space decks are the bast thing against this deck. Lateral damage can be used along with the -2 power effect of the admiral's order. then slap down an executor for a quick sacrafice if they think they're safe... mwha mwha mwha

Death Mark is a way to do a constant damage if someone like captain han is on cloud city, and the opponent doesn't have the tatooine system in the deck.

After her is a great booster, the more destinies you draw, the better. then it recycles for a 4 retrieval

Maul's sith infiltrator.... Anyone feel like cancelling Haven?

This deck is a 1-2 KO. Tell me what you think. I'm trying to find ways of incorporating the imperial artilleries into the deck safely.

That's my deck, tell me what you think!

In tournament I had a win by 52 with this deck. Oh yeah, it's lethal.
