Notes

  • Qty 59 as published: Characters (18) header but 17 characters listed.
  • 'In Hand (3)': Boba Fett (V), his Blaster Rifle (V) and Jabba's Palace: Dungeon start in hand (pulled by Any Methods Necessary); counted in the 60.
  • Prince Xizor (V) is listed in Starting and again under Characters: 2 copies as posted (unique). Mist Hunter (V) x2 as posted.
  • Bad Feeling Have I is unmarked, so the printed Dagobah card. 'Vigo' x2 is the generic Vigo character.
  • Original-era (V) slips: VS7 Prince Xizor x2, Guri, Bane Malar, Zuckuss, Information Exchange, Frustration x2, Unexpected Interruption, Slave I, Punishing One; plus VS2-VS6 slips (Boba Fett and his rifle, IG-88, Djas Puhr, Greedo, IT-O, Desilijic Tattoo, Ket Maliss, Jabba's Influence, Oo-ta Goo-ta, Take Evasive Action x2, Mist Hunter x2, Hound's Tooth, IG-88's Neural Inhibitor).
  • Original-era printing corrected: Greedo (V) (Virtual Set 4) -> Greedo (V) (Virtual Set 3); Punishing One (V) (Virtual Set 7) -> Punishing One (V) (Virtual Set 5) (an earlier dest had linked the modern virtual card of the same name).

Strategy

First turn: activation-4. Deploy Fett and gun to Imperial City. Use his gun to pull Ket Maliss (V) and use that to pull Greedo and the Coruscant: Docking Bay. If the opponent gave you enough force, deploy Greedo. Deploy the Dungeon. Use Xizor's text to pull Unexpected Interruption (V). That makes Boussh all but useless, limiting how the opponent can deploy and battle Xizor.

Second turn: activation-6. If you didn't deploy him last turn, deploy Greedo, if you did, use him to pull Oo-ta Goo-ta, Solo? Ket Maliss (V) pulls Docking Bay 94. Use Fett's Gun to pull Information Exchange. Deploy whatever you can, make sure to save enough force to get Xizor and a small escort over to the docking bay.

Subsequent turns: activation-7+. Get out All Wrapped Up quickly and start capturing opponent's characters. If the opponent is coming to ground, save the Audience Chamber text to pull the extra Xizor.

Card choices:

All characters-there are few enough characters that can be played in this deck, so most of them are there so I don't end up short on them.

Bad Feeling Have I-make Luke expensive to deploy.

Search and Destroy-get the opponent to come to ground if they're sitting in the air.

Take Evasive Action(V)-good against speeders and Fallen Portal.

I realize activation is a little low. It seems to work out in all playtesting. I added Mob Points combo in an attempt at getting that up. I chose Any Methods Necessary over Prepared Defenses because Fett's gun can pull most of the effects I need to get.

I think the rest is self-explanitory.

Thanks for looking, and, hopefully, reviewing.

edit:

Cam-Thanks for the review. The bounties actually got taken out of the deck and I never removed them from the strat section, that's been fixed. I knew Greedo couldn't do that, it must have been an over-sight on my part when typing the strat section. I'm starting to think you're right with the Guri thing. I playtested against a Profit last night and found out that Xizor doesn't stick around long with weapons there.
