Introduction
A really enjoyable, evasion intensive deck. I've only played with it for a few weeks and no tournaments, so any comments would be helpful.
Decklist
'An Unusual Amount Of Fear +10 shields'; none named.
Notes
- Original-era (V): Luke Skywalker (V) x2 (Virtual Set 1); For Luck (V) (Virtual Set 3).
- The draft read 'Leia, Rebel Princess' as Princess Leia and split 'Into The Ventalation Shaft, Lefty' into two cards; fixed.
- Posted 'Clould City' sites/Celebration dested the Cloud City cards; 'Mirax Terrick' Mirax Terrik; 'Kal'Faln C'ndros' Kal'Falnl C'ndros; 'Pucimir Thryss' Pucumir Thryss; 'Figrin Dan' Figrin D'an; 'Fall Of a Lengend' Fall Of The Legend; 'Alter (coruscant)' the Light Alter.
Strategy
While I admit this deck is not very original (see Angeleno Consoli's QMC, I figuered that by me posting it and the year that has gone by since he posted it, new strategies have emerged. I haven't seen anyone's deck that has looked like this (sorry if yours is similar) so I thought I'd post it.
First Turn
A first turn flaip is entirly possible with this deck. As several of the characters deploy for free or have their deploy cost modified. About half of the time a first turn flip is acheived. The Outrider and Dash should be dropped to Bespin and you should drop any characters without fear because you should have at least a barrier, trap, or path in your hand. Remember, if a first turn flip is acheived, look through your force pile before you end your turn, because KTEOF lets you look through at anytime, not just control phase.
Mid-Game
You should be able to get any card you want because of KTEOF and For Luck(v). Drop power characters to protects Thryss and you should keep a stranglehold on Bespin and The West Gallery. Massive drain are very much a possibility and so is massive retrival.
Card Choices
Arcona-Pullable with Out of Nowhere, it is an easy way to flip first turn withou fear.
Figrin Dan-Cheap Character for first turn flip. Hey, who doesn't love extra retrival?
Weather Vane-When it works, it's great, and it's support cards have very high destiny.
For Luck- anti-Senate, Anti-Invasion, Anti-CCT, and Anti-Walkers. It may not seem like much, but it helps temendously.
Landing Claw-Anti-SYCFA and space CCT. It's a big pain to your opponent. Put it on the Falcon because Ghhk combo and Flagship (v) are making the rounds.
Nar Shadda Wind Chimes/Out of Somewhere-Pulls my arcona, and the react deployment is invaluable.
Alter(coruscant)-Anti-Senate. It being lost doesnt matter because I will just alter something during my control phase and get it back with Luke (v) or CCC
Match-Ups
CCT- Ver good Matchup. More than enough space to hold bespin, and the Darkside will have a hard time getting a beat on any character. Eventually the massive retrival will do them in.
SYCFA-Get honor out. And use Landing Claw and the point that he is hurting you the most. Also, try to Alter all of his FWKTIL's. It helps ;).
Senate-This deck has alot of tech against senate. Justy cancel his force drain canceler, and avoid the beats.
Invasion-Ignore Naboo. Concentrate on your own stuff and you should be fine.
I don't have anymore matchups, so I need some help.
Any help would be appreciated,
Andrew
