Strategy

After starting cards, Back Door, Bunker, & Deactivate:

-Avg Destiny after just starting cards - 3.48

-Avg Destiny after Back Door, Bunker, & Deactivate pulled - 3.7

This deck went 6(+84) in the three games at Mystic Visions winning +31, +31 and +22 (I think that is right...)

Well, I had a few decks built the week before the event and tested on Wednesday with Shaw/Kafer, but the light deck stunk (for dark, watch for an appearance at a worlds near you.)

So the day before the event, I threw this deck together again, but with the ability to blow the bunker as quick as I want it or later if needed. Having this quick shot, helped me win against my worst matchup of the day, walkers.

The deck took some top ideas from past decks, and put them together in a nice package:

-Battle power with Harvest/Gift/Skywalkers

-Retrieval that will stay after they grab something (even if they grab one, I still have the other) with Harvest and Edge

-Damage early to rival Walker's strength (Bunker)

-Annoying interrupts with OOC x6

This deck really just adapts to the opponent and plays OOCs as you get them because if they grab it, you are set for the rest of the game playing edge/harvest as will.

Some basic tricks since everyone has seen this deck 100 times.

-use revo if you get it to revo the bunker and allow you to set up quickly without them being able to deploy there...allowing you to attack them at will when they move it.

-Nabrun with Luke and the Beru's is seen, but playing Harvest to add 2 battle destinies is such a great combo because they only have a cost of 8.

-Double Agent for the Back Door if you blow the bunker and they have Arica/U3po/Kedar sitting there to block the drain...blow the bunker then get rid of them for the nice drain on the same turn.

Some matchups

Walkers - blow the bunker asap and try to also draw into Luke/Berus for a nabrun beatdown to slow them up even more. If they blow the shield first, no problem, just retrieve when you blow it. Another tip is to put Leia at their site after they blow it to give you some protection against them occupying a site for a turn or two when you can. Play Do or Do not shield to cause more force loss and play your OOCs to stop any retrieval for playing walkers. Use your retrieval to help you play the whole game ahead in force.

CCT - this is the easiest game to play against, blow the bunker without worry since EPP Maul and Vader can only do so much while they try to set up their drain in space and at the chamber. Nabrun with win you this game since you can move at will and do a ton of damage on the ground. You cant use Resilience or Tank in this game but utilize your retrieval and this should be an easy game.

Hunt Down - you should not revo the bunker and make sure you draw into its a trap and get some good characters at the bunker. When they come after you, try and limit the damage with Concentration and then strike back with destiny adders and the sites text to kill everyone off with overflow. Use OOC to kill everyone and make sure Vader/Maul never come back.

Beat Down Decks - follow the same rules in Hunt Down, keep lots of characters together and you should easily win with the OOCs and battle destinies.

Other decks I cannot think of, have a ball and try not to worry about anything. If you fear Combat, add in somce stunning leader/ barrier cancellers.

If you fear space decks, add in I Hope Shes Alright.

Have fun.
