2001 Vancouver Open
2001 Vancouver Open (Decipher's listing: Hyperlight Open Championships) was a Star Wars CCG Open championship in Vancouver, British Columbia, on 12 August 2001. It was one of the twelve World Championship Open Qualifiers Decipher scheduled between 1 June and 4 September 2001, sponsored by Hyperlight Enterprises.[1]

The event was played before Coruscant was tournament legal.[2]

Watabayashi wrote that his Dark list was "card-for-card what I played at Vancouver" and that it went 3–0 there; its record over the summer was 11–1, the one loss to Charles Hickey. He also wrote a tournament report, "The Vancouver Open", which has not been found.[2]
