Dan Christy finished runner-up with a Light Watch Your Step deck, 10–2 overall in his tournament play.[3] Cavin's Dark Agents Of Black Sun deck went undefeated at Nevada States.[1]

- The hub dates the event 'before 14 April' from Ben Cavin's DeckTech post dated 14 April 2001, but Danny Rider's report is titled 4-15-01 and posted 15 April, and his 8 April report calls states 'next week'.[2]
- The hub says Dan Christy went '10–2 overall'; his report gives 10 (+78) tournament points from a 5–1 Swiss record, then a 1–1 final against Chris Hines.[4]
- The hub says Ben Cavin's Agents Of Black Sun deck went undefeated at Nevada States; Christy's report says that after round 3 only Chris Hines, Kris Lavigne and Brandon Gravo were undefeated, and Cavin is not in his top 4 (the deck may have won all its own games).[4]
