Human Shield is a Dark Interrupt (Used or Lost Interrupt) from Cloud City.
Card Text
USED: If an opponent's weapon just 'hit' an Imperial present with a captive being escorted, the captive is 'hit' instead. LOST: During a battle at a site, you may forfeit any or all captives present.
Lore
A shining example of Imperial honor and bravery.
Rulings
- For the Used function, any weapon results that would have affected the Imperial affect the captive instead.[1]
- Weapon results that don't affect a specific character (such as Force loss) do not change.
- A hit captive is immediately lost (even during battle).
- For the Lost function, captives forfeit values are affected by global modifiers (e.g. Insurrection) and modifiers that affect captives (e.g. Lieutenant Sheckil).
