Rulings
- If the player has at least one unique alien in hand, then searching Reserve Deck is optional.[1]
- Player may search Reserve Deck, then decide to use only cards from hand (even if Reserve Deck had valid options). As long as at least one unique alien is revealed from hand or Reserve Deck, no verification occurs.
- If player searched Reserve Deck and can't complete the action, only Reserve Deck is verified. A judge may be called to check the hand for any unique aliens.
