Virtual card icons are shorthand symbols printed on Players Committee Virtual Set slip PDFs (Virtual Original era). Meanings below are quoted or closely paraphrased only from those archival PDFs. Do not treat this page as a rules invention.

Same ICON KEY family on DefensiveShields.pdf (Defensive Shields)
DefensiveShields.pdf (Internet Archive; cover title Virtual Set: Defensive Shields; Official text as of December 4, 2006) prints the same ICON KEY wording family as the Legacy VS1 sheet above (Alter / Control / Sense, pilot-power X, maintenance, grabber, triangles). Hub: Defensive Shields.
Earlier Premium Edition ICON KEY (VirtualCards1Premium.pdf)
Premium Edition sheet ICON KEY (same twelve VS1 titles; not the Dec 2006 Legacy cover). Local/res copy: VirtualCards1Premium.pdf.
Printed meanings on that Premium ICON KEY include:
- A (Immune to Alter.)
- C (Immune to Control.)
- S (Immune to Sense.)
- P X (Replaced the phrase "Adds X to power of anything he/she pilots" in the game text, unless otherwise specified, and is considered to have a Pilot icon.)
- Upward triangle: Replaced the phrase- "Take into hand from Reserve Deck; reshuffle."
- Downward triangle: Replaced the phrase- "Deploy on table from Reserve Deck; reshuffle."
The Dec 2006 Legacy VirtualCards1.pdf ICON KEY additionally prints explicit lines for the maintenance-cost icon and the grabber icon (see table above). Keep Premium and Legacy legends labeled separately; do not merge into one unverified gloss.
Notes
- Early VirtualCards1a (March 2002) is a slips sheet; it does not carry the same multi-icon ICON KEY block as Premium / Legacy cover pages.
- Other Virtual Original set PDFs (for example Virtual Set #5 and later, and DefensiveShields.pdf / Defensive Shields) reuse A / C / S and related shorthand with their own ICON KEY blocks; cite each PDF when documenting those sets.
- Set expansion symbol for the Legacy VS1 cover (blue circular orb) is documented on Virtual Set 1 (Original) and is distinct from the gametext shorthand icons on this page.
