Gamall Wironicc is a Dark Character (Alien) from Tatooine.

Card Text

Adds 1 to power of anything he pilots. While Gamall is in battle, your other characters present with him may not be targeted by opponent's weapons. Place Gamall in Used Pile if he was just 'hit.' Power -2 while on Tatooine.

Lore

Strange wanderer. Rumored to have sacrificed himself in battle so that his comrades could live on. Survived and now stranded on Tatooine. He misses everything he'll never be.

Strategy

(revised)

"Strange wanderer" says the lore. You ain't kidding! Not only is there no mention of his mysterious species, there's absolutely no hint as to what that curious club-looking thing is that he is holding! Ahhh.. the strange and joyous alien world of Star Wars...

Down to business. Power 4 and ability 2 for deploy of 2. Good value for money, but generally ability 2 aliens need a specific reason to make it into your average deck. Although never forget that ability 2 is low enough to avoid pesky Goo Nee Tay. Destiny 2 is one step up from the number we all hate drawing for battle destiny, but forfeit 3 is a little low (as normal for Dark Side). Of course, with Scum and Villainy and Special Edition Jabba in the mix, you probably won't be paying anything for this guy to come to table.

Gamall's best use is with his text. Ignoring his token piloting ability, and a "I prefer to not be on Tatooine" power clause, he contains the text that will keep your characters alive a little longer in the face of weapon fire: "your other characters present with him may not be targeted

thing, it applies to all your characters, and thus protects them whether they are alien leaders, droids, Republicans, or Dark Jedi Masters.

The "may not be targeted" means that as long as he is on table, all his mates are protected and immune to anything that targets – sabers, blasters, even Lando and his pesky Vibro-Ax. That's at least one weapon you don't have to worry about (this battle!).

Don't worry about Gamall's low forfeit value too much; he often won't be staying around to use it. Once "hit," he trots off to the Used Pile. Look for him to return again later... (and with destiny 2, you don't want him recycling too long anyhow).

If you can afford the combo, try to look for a way to up his defense value. For example, Mandalorian Armor. Any thing that can cause a miss means another weapon shot he will be around to take "for the team" later.

Caution – If you are relying on his text, beware of Sorry About The Mess, Clash Of Sabers (Gamall must be in battle for text to work), Choke, and Chewbacca, Protector.[1]

Combos

  • Gamall Wironicc + Chokk Power 11 while defending a battle and they double the weapons protection for your characters.[2]
