Even though Luke felt the pain of losing his mentor, Obi-Wan continued to give him strength and guidance through the Force.
Strategy
Have you ever had Obi-Wan dueled and put out of play? Well, for great justice, then this is the card for you. Take advantage of your disadvantage by using this card to increase your power in battles and hopefully inflict some battle damage on your opponent for your trouble.
Since Obi-Wan is very likely to be dueled and placed out of play during your opponent's turn, you may not have saved Force to deploy this card. Worried that you will never get this card on the table? Fear not because Wise Advice from Special Edition (or the combo version, Do Or Do Not/Wise Advice) makes your Immediate Effects deploy for free. Once you have this card on the table, you are immensely stronger. You basically have a free 'crazy old wizard' adding his 5 power in all your battles everywhere.
Combo:
Any deck that uses the Death Star II effect (such as a deck using the There Is Good In Him objective) will benefit from higher power, making the crossing of Vader to the Light Side easier.
