Deploy on table if all of your race totals = 0. When a player wins a Podrace, adds 5 to the amount retrieved. When a player loses a Podrace, adds 5 to the amount lost. (Immune to Alter.)

Watto's quite the podracing enthusiast – more because of the money involved than because of any love of the sport. But to make money, you have to spend some. Watto spent some of his money on prime seats for the Boonta Eve Classic, to be better able to fleece the people seated around him.
The effect ups the ante on the podrace, letting the winner retrieve 5 extra Force and making the loser lose an extra 5. Light can retrieve even more if they play with I Did It!, but if you're playing Dark side, you don't want to think about that!
Everybody has to be seated before the race begins – or at least, before your racer gets off the line. If your opponent starts the race before you deploy it, you can choose not to draw race destiny, but don't get too far behind, or you'll be placing a very bad bet! Of course, if you're using Sebulba's Podracer and your opponent starts the race before you deploy this card, you can buy yourself an extra turn to deploy the effect by keeping the opponent from drawing race destiny this turn.
You can avoid this problem by deploying the effect at the start of the game, but at the cost of not having any other starting effects. Still, for a chance at an 11 force retrieval for you and an 11 force loss for your opponent, that seems a small price to pay.
