This Mon Calamari has the potential to have enormous power. He does have a drawback of allowing your opponent to recycle cards, but he will really make your opponent think how many cards he really needs in hand. After all, one more card in his hand could mean one more battle damage coming his way.

But the key to using him effectively is to get him into battle when your opponent doesn't see it coming. If you deploy him to a probable battle location, you can be sure his power will be taken down a notch before the battle. You will want to use cards that let him get to a battle without you deploying him to the battle location on your turn. For example, on Cloud City you can use Path of Least Resistance to get him where he's needed, or in Jabba's Palace you could use You Will Take Me to Jabba Now.
