Lore

Strategy

By Joe Alread Decipher Intern[1]

The long awaited counterpart to Secret Plans, Aim High finally gives those heavy Dark Side retrieval decks some problems of its own. This effect will probably be most useful against non-unique decks and Bounty Hunter decks, i.e. decks that retrieve Force in large amounts all at once. Don't forget it's offensive capability as well, to get power +5 whenever you fire two weapons in a battle can be extremely powerful, especially if EPP Han and Leia start firing their blasters in tandem.

Combos

Rulings

  • Dark has the option to decline and cancel the retrieval.[2]
  • The amount of Force used ('X') equals the retrieval amount initiated, even if the Lost pile has fewer than X cards.
  • If Dark is to search their Lost Pile to retrieve card(s) that meet specific criteria, Dark searches first, then pays for Aim High only if they find valid card(s) and choose to retrieve.
