Deploy on an exterior Rebel Base site. During a battle at related system, may target a capital starship there using 2 Force. Draw destiny. If destiny +3 > armor, all starship weapons aboard target are lost, power = 0 and hyperspeed = 0. See ion weapons; see long-range weapons.

Rulings

  • Whether fired during battle or at another time, the target starship is power and hyperspeed = 0 until it leaves play (or until something makes it 'restored to normal').[1]
  • Weapons aboard the starship are only lost as a one-time response to the Cannon firing. Weapons can subsequently be deployed on the starship without becoming lost.
