Lore

Chancellor's Chagrian advisor who maintains order in the Senate. Although Senator Palpatine suggested he may be on the Trade Federation's payroll, nothing has been proven yet.

Strategy

Mas Amedda is a must-have in any Senate package. Besides having high power and politics (which can be further enhanced with Stay Here, Where It's Safe), he has some excellent game text. First, he'll increase your Force generation when he's with Supreme Chancellor Valorum. You never know when you'll need that extra Force to deploy a critical character or fire a weapon. Also, when Amedda is in a senate majority, and you control both a battleground site and a battleground system, your opponent loses 2 Force. This is a nice bit of direct damage that bypasses any Force drain modifiers or limiters.

Note that although politically savvy, Amedda is not a senator, and therefore will not be able to be played to your Political Effects. That disadvantage is helped a little by the fact that he can be taken into hand from Reserve by Might Of The Republic.

First, Amedda causes 2 Force loss in direct damage, then Yarua retrieves one Force when you drain at the system.
