Aurra Sing is a Dark Character (Alien) from Tatooine.

Card Text

May use any 'stolen' lightsaber. Once per turn, may steal a lightsaber from an opponent's character just lost where present. Immune to attrition < 3 (< 5 while armed with a lightsaber).

Lore

Bounty hunter. Former student of the Force. After failing her Jedi training, Aurra became known for hunting down and killing Jedi Knights.

Strategy

By From: By: I-Ming Chen[1]

The mysterious bounty hunter who made a small cameo during The Phantom Menace will make more than just a mere cameo to the Star Wars: CCG universe. With 4 ability, she is a no-brainer to any Dark Side deck that battles or relies on main characters.

Her game text is interesting since it will depend on the opponent losing a character wielding a lightsaber at the same site. Not too common of an event if your opponent is using only Enhanced characters with built-in weapons, but you'll get a good benefit (i.e. higher immunity to attrition) should the opportunity arise.

But enough about her game text. There are a variety of different deck types she will go straight into. For players who are big on playing the popular Jabba's Palace effect, Scum And Villiany -- using the My Kind Of Scum objective (JPSD set) or Court Of The Vile Gangster objective (Enhanced Jabba's Palace set) -- Aurra will be a great addition to the rest of the aliens already in your deck.

Even if you don't use Scum And Villany, Aurra is still useful in other decks if you like hunting for bounties. In Court Of The Vile Gangster, she gets forfeit +2 and bypasses Goo Nee Tay. Since Aurra is a bounty hunter, she will qualify for Agents Of The Black Sun (Reflections II/Expanded Universe set), which will benefit from having another bounty hunter.

Combos:

Aurra Sing + Quietly Observing: Why wait until the opponent just lost a character? Have Aurra sneak up on the opponent and just take it.

Aurra Sing + Weapon Levitation: Arg... just take the lightsaber. I prefer a straight fight to all this sneaking around.

Aurra Sing + Dark Jedi Lightsaber: Forget about waiting. Get your own glow stick. Not cheap but you'll be able to add to Force drains and play all the fun interrupts related to lightsabers like You Are Beaten.
