Lightsaber Proficiency (PC Errata) is a Light Effect from Premiere Limited.
Card Text
Deploy on your character with ability > 2 and a lightsaber. That character is power +3 in battles or may add 1 to Force drain where present. Effect is lost if character loses lightsaber.
Lore
A Jedi learns not only to wield a lightsaber, but how to channel the Force to increase skill and control the lightsaber's damage.

Rulings
- Only adds power +3 during battle, not all the time.[1]
- The character may add 1 to a Force drain and still be power +3 in a battle that same turn.
- The last sentence means that this Effect makes itself lost if the character is not carrying at least one lightsaber.
- A lightsaber carried by a character who cannot use it is inactive. An inactive lightsaber does not allow Lightsaber Proficiency to deploy, nor does it prevent Lightsaber Proficiency's last sentence from making itself lost.
