Have you ever looked at [[Zuckuss In Mist Hunter]] and wanted to sic that same torture on the Dark Side, just to see how they'd feel? Well, here's your chance! [[Lieutenant Williams]] on the [[Radiant VII]] gives you a very similar ability: if your opponent has total ability less than seven piloting at Williams's system, his total battle destiny is -3. Not quite as good as [[Zuckuss]], but then again, [[Zuckuss]] doesn't have 7 power and immunity to attrition < 5.
Since Williams's ability only works while the [[Radiant VII]] is alone at a system, you'll want to supplement him with two other pilots to maximize the Radiant's power in space. But even if you don't find yourself in the need for space support, Williams works well as forfeit fodder on the ground, with reasonable stats to supplement your main characters in their quest for ground-poundin' dominance. And, since he's a Republic character, he's immune to annoying things like [[Scanning Crew]].
And if you think he's good, wait 'till you see his captain....

Strategy

By Nick Zube[1]

Have you ever looked at Zuckuss In Mist Hunter and wanted to sic that same torture on the Dark Side, just to see how they'd feel? Well, here's your chance! Lieutenant Williams on the Radiant VII gives you a very similar ability: if your opponent has total ability less than seven piloting at Williams's system, his total battle destiny is -3. Not quite as good as Zuckuss, but then again, Zuckuss doesn't have 7 power and immunity to attrition < 5.

Since Williams's ability only works while the Radiant VII is alone at a system, you'll want to supplement him with two other pilots to maximize the Radiant's power in space. But even if you don't find yourself in the need for space support, Williams works well as forfeit fodder on the ground, with reasonable stats to supplement your main characters in their quest for ground-poundin' dominance. And, since he's a Republic character, he's immune to annoying things like Scanning Crew.

And if you think he's good, wait 'till you see his captain....

Combos:

9 power, battle destiny, attrition immunity, and a very low destiny total for your opponent. And you still have room for one more pilot....
