Padme Naberrie is a Light Character (Republic) from Tatooine.
Card Text
Twice per game may deploy Qui-Gon or Obi-Wan here from Reserve Deck; reshuffle. While present with your Jedi at a site, opponent may not target Amidala with weapons.
Lore
Queen Amidala posed as one of her own handmaidens for added safety as well as to keep an eye on her Jedi protectors. Was to be protected by the Jedi at all times.
Strategy
Power 3, Ability 3, destiny 3 and Forfeit 5 — all for 2 deploy! Statistics alone are a very solid reason to consider the disguised Queen for your deck! But there's more!
For one thing, this version of the Amidala persona is a Republic character, thus unaffected by anything that targets Rebels. For example, Charming To The Last, Put All Sections On Alert and the popular Scum deck helper, None Shall Pass, all fall flat when faced with this Republican.
Of course, her real kicker is in her game text. Besides the fact that her Jedi protectors keep her safe from weapon fire, she can even 'download' them! Twice per game, deploy Qui-Gon or Obi-Wan to Padmé's site. That's a very fast way to get out any version of two of your biggest characters. And of course, you could just use it to get Qui-Gon twice to stall an opponent's Hunt Down, or perhaps Ben Kenobi twice to push your Profit deck along.
So what are her disdvantages? Only one, but it is red, black and nasty — Darth Maul is looking for her. But even then, Padmé benefits — if Dark Side is playing a 'Hunt The Queen' strategy (I Will Find Them Quickly Master and the Epic Event, If The Trace Was Correct) then she can deploy straight from your Reserve Deck.
Padmé — you'll be seeing a lot of her.
