Being a player of a Dagobah (location)Dagobah - Clouds deck since Cloud City was released, I just though that I would share my views on a card that is frequently disregarded in favor of cheaper, more powerful Starfighters. The Medium Transport is Deploy 2, Forfeit 4, Power 1, Armor 3, Hyperspeed 4. At first glance, this is not too spectacular (especially in battle - heavy decks). But if you put this ship into a situation where it is unlikely to be battled (i.e. - the Clouds on Dagobah (location)Dagobah) it begins to shine. The most common way that the Dark Side has to overrun the Clouds on Dagobah (location)Dagobah, is to move a Star Destroyer loaded with TIE's over to the Dagobah (location)Dagobah system, have the
TIE's move into the clouds, and start Tallon Rolling all the Starfighters that they can get their sights on. Because the Medium Transport is a Capital ship that moves and deploys like a Starfighter, it is immune to this silly tactic. It's Power works out to be the same as a Y-Wing (0), it suffers no penalties to it's Maneuver (it doesn't have one), it has a permanent pilot, and it's Forfeit is one better! If you're opponent is using Bounty Hunter ships (like Slave 1), then Deploy the Transport to Kessel, put any Pilot main character (except Chewbacca) aboard, and you have a Destiny draw as well! Granted, it's not as powerful as Fett in Slave 1, but with Yoda on the Hut (as I'm sure you know) you'll be able to reduce the Attrition by 2, and your opponents Power will be -2 for being in the Clouds.
Because the Transport can deploy and move like a Starfighter, It can Deploy to a Cloud City: Platform 327 (Docking Bay)Docking Bay, and land at Exterior Sites. This has come in handy for me several times, when an emergency evacuation is called for on Tatooine, or when I want to deposit some characters on Dagobah (location)Dagobah, and have no Encampments or Great Warrior's handy.
Finally, for a really big Power boost, deploy a Cloud Car into the belly of the Transport at Kessel, and move it to Dagobah (location)Dagobah, and then into the Clouds. Drop off a few Cars this way, and guaranteed your opponent wont be aching to initiate a battle there.
Combo's
Medium Transport + Any Main = Destiny, and Forfeit fodder to boot.
Medium Transport + Cloud Car (repeatedly) = A good reason for the Dark Side not to invade the Clouds.
Medium Transport + R5M2 + Bo Shek = Power 5, Armor 3, immune to Attrition < 3, immune to Tallon Roll, and can draw Destiny! Being a player of a Dagobah - Clouds deck since Cloud City was released, I just though that I would share my views on a card that is frequently disregarded in favor of cheaper, more powerful Starfighters. The Medium Transport is Deploy 2, Forfeit 4, Power 1, Armor 3, Hyperspeed 4. At first glance, this is not too spectacular (especially in battle - heavy decks). But if you put this ship into a situation where it is unlikely to be battled (i.e. - the Clouds on Dagobah) it begins to shine. The most common way that the Dark Side has to overrun the Clouds on Dagobah, is to move a Star Destroyer loaded with TIE's over to the Dagobah system, have the

Because the Transport can deploy and move like a Starfighter, It can Deploy to a Docking Bay, and land at Exterior Sites. This has come in handy for me several times, when an emergency evacuation is called for on Tatooine, or when I want to deposit some characters on Dagobah, and have no Encampments or Great Warrior's handy.

Finally, for a really big Power boost, deploy a Cloud Car into the belly of the Transport at Kessel, and move it to Dagobah, and then into the Clouds.

(A lot of cards, but I've done it, and in the Clouds no less!)[1]
