Defender sporting blaster, made by Drearian Defense Conglomerate. Intended for personal defense or small-game hunting. Short range. Low power. Caries energy for 50 shots.
This weapon, fires for free, which is much better than most other weapons. Nevertheless, it does not make up for its inherent weakness. A -1 to hit? Come on, it's hard enough to hit things with a 1. You'll need a 4+ destiny if you want to hit any one of any strength. And the only real advantage a weapon provides is that it allows you to choose who dies.
A five destiny does help make up for some of its weaknesses, but not
I'm not opposed to using high destiny worthless cards, but there are others that can be more effective. Whaaaaaaooow, [[A Few Maneuvers]], and [[Lift Tube]] being among them (AFM can be useful in an Asteroid deck). The destiny also makes it extremely easy to overload.
If [[Leia Organa{{!}}Leia]] is firing and hits her target then the target has forfeit = 0. This can be helpful as it increases the casualties suffered by the opponent - the only good use of this card.
Conclusion: if you're using a [[Leia Organa{{!}}Leia]] deck, then use this card. Otherwise, don't even consider it.
