While aboard any starfighter, adds 1 to power, maneuver and hyperspeed. When at a Scomp link during your draw phase, may use 1 Force to peek at top three cards of your Reserve Deck.

This little fella is an underrated card that often is overlooked. With his average destiny, cheap deploy cost of 2, and ability to boost a starfighter, he may seem ok...for your dark space deck. However, his final ability is the best of his features. When at a scomp link during your draw phase, he allows you to look at the top three cards of your Reserve Deck for one Force. Now, although R2-Q2's "peeping" ability is restricted to your draw phase, there are ways to take advantage of this. For instance, say you want your Ponda Baba to play Sabacc. It is your draw phase and you use one Force to look at the top 3 cards of your deck. The destinies [in order] are: 4, 3, and 1 (which happens to be Darth Vader). It isn't entirely a safe Sabacc hand, but you could really use Vader. So, on your next turn you activate enough to draw Vader! Hey, it's a dirty trick, but what do you expect from the Dark Side? Combos: R2-Q2 + Sabacc OR Targeting with Weapons OR Freezing Captives OR Epic Duel OR Battle Destinies... The Energizer Astromech. Keeps going and going...
