			The [[Republic Cruiser]] is the workhorse of the Republic. It may not appear to be as powerful as the [[Trade Federation Battleship]], but it does have several advantages for the Light Side player. For one thing, it is considerably cheaper than the battleship when you consider its power, not to mention its generous forfeit value. With built-in ability of 2, this ship is halfway toward being able to draw a battle destiny. All the [[Republic Cruiser]] needs is a single pilot, like [[Phylo Gandish]] or Ric Olié, and it becomes a solid power 6 plus a battle destiny. This starfighter even reduces the effectiveness of your opponent's battleships by reducing their battle destiny draws by 1.

			Use the [[Republic Cruiser]]'s solid forfeit value to protect other, more valuable ships while [[Docking And Repair Facilities]] ensures the [[Republic Cruiser]] will live to fight another day.
