Call it sentiment, a reminder of that favorite movie scene when [[Obi-Wan Kenobi{{!}}Obi-Wan]] gives [[Luke Skywalker{{!}}Luke]] his father's lightsaber, and introduces us to this elegant weapon.

If [[Luke Skywalker{{!}}Luke]] finds himself in battle together with either of his mentors, [[Obi-Wan Kenobi{{!}}Obi-Wan]] or [[Yoda]], it allows the Light Side to draw two additional battle destiny. Three battle destiny are usually enough to sweep away the Dark Side characters opposing these Jedi. The secondary use, allowing the player to use 1 Force to search the Reserve Deck for any lightsaber, is key in many decks that require a fast start and Force drain bonuses from lightsabers. It is also nice to have a card in your deck that cuts down on the use of duplicate copies of [[Obi-Wan's Lightsaber]] or [[Anakin's Lightsaber]].
