Imagine the following situation. The [[Redemption]] is hovering over [[Tatooine]] while battles ensue below on the planet's surface. Both sides have been taking losses and it looks like [[Tatooine]] may soon be uninhabited. The Light Side player has been wise and there are quite a few [[Bacta Tank]] patients recovering on the [[Redemption]].

The Dark Side player realizes that if the [[Redemption]] isn't taken out, pretty soon there will be no chance of winning. The Dark Side player decides that its time to bring in the big guns and deploys the [[Death Star Assault Squadron]] to [[Tatooine]].

Bad luck for the Light Side, huh? Not really. If the Light Side player has learned anything from the wise [[Yoda]], they would have been holding an [[Escape Pod]] in hand so characters aboard the lost [[Redemption]] can travel back down to the surface to do more battle.

Although it appears the original intent of [[Escape Pod]] is to avoid a potential loss, it gives the Light Side yet another way to surprise the Dark Side. Also, keep in mind that [[Escape Pod]] has a destiny of 6 and is a Used Interrupt.

Combos: [[Escape Pod]] + [[Bacta Tank]] + [[Redemption]] to give the Dark Side a big surprise!
