Egregious: Conspicuous; especially: conspicuously bad. Flagrant And who says we can't learn anything from playing this game...

You know, I think the first thing you should learn when you're at "Star Destroyer Driver's Ed" is to watch out for those mile long wedges that are heading right at you. I mean, how can you not see them!?

Well, this card is almost like the Premier expansion's Collision, although more specialized and thus, harder to pull off. Really, it's very rare to see your opponent have more than 2 Capital ships in a system for very long, if at all. Only the less experienced, or the egregiously (hey! there's that word again!) desperate, will try to load up a system like that.

Fortunately, Capt. [[Han Solo{{!}}Han]] and the [[Millennium Falcon{{!}}Falcon]] will usually cause the Dark Side to become desperate. [[Han Solo{{!}}Han]] has a nasty tendency to draw a crowd of ships where ever he's at. Also, hitting one of those capital ships with an early [[Rebel Barrier]] may cause the Dark Side to deploy more to the system. Lastly, you could try the "monkey see, monkey do" tactic by deploying a large fleet at a system and look for your opponent do do like-wise.

The main idea for this card is to isolate smaller, weaker ships from their more powerful parent ships. Let's say you have Capt. [[Han Solo{{!}}Han]], [[Luke Skywalker{{!}}Luke]] and [[Chewie (The Empire Strikes Back Introductory Two-Player Game){{!}}Chewie]] on the [[Millennium Falcon]] facing [[Executor]], 2 Victory Class Star Destroyers and [[Obsidian 7]]. Looks like the Light Side may want to cut it's losses and flee, right? Wrong. By playing this little number and drawing a 3 or less (remember you subtract 1 from the destiny draw), you've just caused a 3 Destroyer pile-up, suddenly leaving [[Obsidian 7]] all by his lonesome. That's when you battle it and play [[Don't Get Cocky]] and [[Rug Hug]], thus causing more than just an embarrassing situation for the Dark Side...

Combos:

[[Egregious Pilot Error]] + Collision = Stack 'em up at the system and pick 'em off before they can get away.
