[[Matt Potter]] (United States) defeated [[Michael Riboulet]] (United Kingdom) 2 (+9). Riboulet won game 1 by 19 with Dark Operatives; Potter won game 2 by 28, also on Operatives. Potter was the first American World Champion. Riboulet became the first player in two Grand Finals.<ref name="trando" /><br />
